How To Read MORE

“How do you read so much?” “I want to read… but I don’t have any time!” “Do you just like read all day? How do you have time?” These are questions I get asked A LOT by friends, classmates, and coworkers. As someone who spends a lot of time reading but also a lot of time doing school work, working, and hanging out with friends and family, I thought I would share how I read and how you can read MORE.

After a long day of doing homework or working, there’s nothing better than knowing you already have a set time to read and unwind. For me, this time is around 9 o’clock at night. It gives me an hour or more to read before I have to go to bed. Having this kind of a routine will motivate you to read, even if you only end up reading 5 pages! Your set time could be 7 o’clock in the morning before you have to get ready for school or work, 5 o’clock in the afternoon, or whenever you know you won’t have any plans. You’ll notice that having time for yourself to just READ will increase how much you read. Read more

Birthday Book Haul!

Hello everyone! I am back and with a huuuuge birthday book haul. Whenever holidays come around I always buy a lot of books because it’s justified right? (maybe?) I saw this book came out in paperback and I couldn’t resist buying it. Ever since reading countless reviews about how INCREDIBLE this book is I have been dying to read it! After reading Between Shades of Gray (one of my new ALL time favorite books) I have become obsessed with historical fiction and want all the historical fiction books in the world. All I know about this book is that it has to do with a Japanese POW camp and that’s all I need to want to jump right in. Read more
